Once you have your lease, here are the steps you need to take before you move in:

1.  Obtain a Renter's Insurance Policy to cover your belongings

      You will need to get renter's insurance to cover your belongings, and provide liability insurance to cover yourself during your lease.  If you have auto insurance, your insurance agent should be able to add a renter's insurance policy to your account.  If you need a referral for an insurance agent, let us know.

2.  Turn Utilities on in Your name
